Gauge Options
I know there is a forum for gauges, but i figured since it is more of a ... uneducated question it'd belong more in the new member section.
Planning on buying some gauges soon. Will get the Defi Triple Gauge Clock Pod, with Defi gauges.
Was going to get Boost and EGT for sure. The third gauge is what i'm more unsure about. Was leaning towards Air/Fuel.
Some opinions would be great on which third gauge i should get. And Thanks for your help.
Upgrades: Full Perrin TBE. Cobb stg2. Wheels/tires. (Stg 1 atm, but will be stg two here in about 4 days or so, when DP is installed).

I'm of the opinion that an oil pressure gauge is more important to have than an EGT gauge. I only have 2 gauges, boost and oil pressure. I might get EGT later, but I just don't think that it's super important. Besides, I'm only running off-the-shelf Cobb Stage 2.

I am curious on this one too,.....i'm not getting gauges for a few more months but i have been looking in to them.
I understand boost......i think i will go with boost and oil pressure....
i was thinking of getting a volt meter becasue of my stereo system though....what importance is egt.....in what ways can it help?
Are there often Oil Pressure problems?
(Mods are in sig, +downpipe/stg2 in a couple days)

No specific oil pressure problems that I know of, but it's a good safety gauge. If you lose oil pressure in the engine, you want to know about it ASAP. I had a buddy blow an oil pump in his Audi A4 and he didn't have an oil pressure gauge. He just saw a sh!t ton of smoke behind him and pulled over. He was very lucky not to blow his engine.
