    Hi all

currently driving 2002 m3 smg. thinking of swapping into a 2003 sti.
From what i've read so far the mods to start wtith would be the exhaust stuff,
ie removing the cats. Then fueling ie bigger injectors....bigger pump.

then if u must, a show off valve...i mean bov

question is : where will these mods get me power wise ? I don't want to be
going backwards. m3 is 252kw and does 0-100 in about 5.2s

    Welcome!

TBE is a good start and maybe go with some EM/pro tune.. Personally, I would not bother with the "show off valve".

I would assume by your measurements that you'd have either EDM or JDM cars. This will make a different. Where are you located?

any idea of power ? will i smoke the m3 ?

reliability issues ? apparently there is a 'problem' with number 3 cylinder....being too close to turbo plumbing. whenever fried engines are opened its always #3 thats the problem

yea the #3 cylinder if notorious for our impreza's. but it's not usually an issue unless your running higher hp or high mileage. a stage 2 STi should beat or at least stay with your m3.

Do you know if you get EDM models or JDM models? Either way they are a fine car and you should be faster (very close though) to the m3. Dollar for dollar you should be much faster when it comes to mods.
