yo whats up guys? I live in chicago and as of right now i drive an 05 nissan spec v or did until some ******* wrecked it. Its going into the shop tomorrow but i think im going to trade it in for an 06 wrx, thats the reason i joined. i want to learn as much as can from this forum so if i do get that wrx ill know where to start modding. thanks.

Well im not sure if you guys are familiar with chicago or not but i was cruising down lake shore drive with some evos,mini's and a vr4. Well i was stopped at the light on lsd when some drunk driver blew out a tire and hopped the curb and was driving on the lawn and sidewalk and then he rammed the hell out of my rear end. Its over $5000 dollars in damages. im so pissed because ive worked so hard on my car and now its gone to waste. Now im thinking about trading it in for a wrx id want to get an sti but i cant afford it. Even if i dont get the wrx i want to stick around here and get know you guys and the wrx. thanks.

If you end up trading in your SE-R for an 06' WRX you will not be disappointed in the least bit. The wrx is a better car in so many ways.
Living in the Chi as well, I can say with confidence that the wrx will really come in handy when we get hit with snow

yeah thanks guys. only reason why i want the subie is because its too damn expensive to turbo my spec v and after my accident im not sure about boosting any n/a car. the only thing i cant decide on now is whether i should go after the wrx tr or wrx sedan. i was on subaru.com and the only difference i noticed was the wing, fog lights and the sound system. i dont really care for the fog lights and the sound system ...welll im going to upgrade anyway so why get a 6 disc cd changer and well the wing... i dont really like and i was planning on leaving it wing less or throw on the sti wing. so what do you guys think wrx tr or wrx sedan?
