Only if you are using the clutch/motor to hold you in place instead of your brake pedal.

So whenever i stop at a red light i stop at the line and put the car into first and just let off the clutch a little bit so it "catches" so when the light turns green i give it some gas and i just head off.

Does this wear out the clutch?

When at a lights it's *ok* to have your foot on the clutch and the clutch pressed to the floor and the car in 1st. Make sure you keep your foot on the brake or you'll drift back. Dont hold the clutch at the grap point to prevent from rolling back.

    yes, very nice.

at lights I usually sit with the car in 1st, clutch to the floor and foot on the brake if I need it so I don't roll forward or backward. pretty level lands around these parts so most of the time i don't need to use the brake once i am stopped at a light.

I took it out for a drive today and I am fairly confident in my stick shift abilities now. I was really just overanalyzing everything. It will still take a couple of weeks for it to become second nature but for now i am doing just fine with my brand new BABY!

The bad news is that the pictures are on hold until i find someone to sex up for their digital camera But i promise you soon!

Loving my baby so much and once again I thank you guys for putting up with my noobie bull**** and i'm glad to be part of your community!
