If not, I guess i'll do the stage II. Will this affect an auto transmission?
Why does COBB seem like the better way to go? What do they have over the others?
It's 0336 hrs right now in Baghdad, and iv'e been at work on the computer over half the night! I LOVE MY JOB!
Cobb is a quality company that specializes in only Subaru parts. The AccessPORT is probably the easiest engine management to use. You just plug it in and let it do it's thing. Also, if you ever want to stray from the base maps that Cobb has, you can get the StreetTUNER software or go to a shop and get a custom ProTUNE.
As for Stage 3, Cobb has never and probably will never come out with a Stage 3 map. There is Stage 2.5 which is for the VF30 or VF34 turbo and STi pink injectors.
Get the Cobb AP, and you'll never be sorry.

Stage 2 is definitely worth it. I just got my Stage 2 Protune done last Monday and ended up with 241awhp and 290awtq on my '06 WRX TR. That's just about stock STi territory. It's like night and day difference from stock and I can't be happier. Not sure about reliability since I only have 10k on the car but if I don't beat up on it too much it should hold up fine. My .02 cents on the matter.

that all depends on what you're looking for, if you want 400 hp, then no. IOriginally Posted by Maximus1975
