Finally bought my 06 sti

I just got back from leave, and while i was on leave i went ahead and bought the 06 sti. I was going to what tell i come home from Iraq, but i got a good deal and i couldnt wait. Since i am going from the 2005 wrx, to the sti it is a big differance it alot of things. I had already started modding the 05 wrx and when i sold it the guy wanted all the stock parts back on it, so i still have the Invidia bellmouth downpipe, and the hks hi power exhaust. Which i have made sure they will both fit on my sti. But for now all i am doing is researching and learning all i can so when i get home i can start working on my car. I am going to order the accessport in a few days, so i will have that to put on too. I am looking at replacing the motor mounts since the dealer where i bought the car is going to install them for free, and while i am at it i am thinking about replacing the pitch and tranny mount too. All i am trying to do know is find out where i am going to buy them from. After that i am going to go home and enjoy it for a while before i start thinking about what i want to do next. I will post some pics soon. I just thought i would share my happiness with everyone else. I think that has been the hardest thing i have had to do.lol. Leave my car. man that sucks.

Hmm, I havent seen a black '06 STi without the gold wheels. Interesting.

thanks, actually i had the dealer change them out with a white sti they had there that had the silver ones. I like the silver better than gold. The gold rims looks better on the white one in my opinion too.

Congrats and welcome! I was going to wait until I went home on R&R to get mine but my wife found an 05 for a really good deal, so I had her pick it up. At least I will have it to drive when I get home.

Where in Iraq are you? Deffinately beats driving the 1114
