wassup everybody! u got a new member in the crew. i just got myself a 2002 wrx. pretty stock.. well it has an 05 STI whole downpipe system.. thats it. so i want to know more about shifting rations, etc. i noticed onr thing.. my first gear its really strong. the rest of them are a little weaker. are all tof the like that. after i pass 4500 RPM i get a really hard pull on 1 gear so thats good. but the other i really dont feel them.

Hey Raul, just so you know the 'BOV Question' has been asked a million trilion times. So I'm going to save you before you get flamed with members telling you to Search (which you should do):

A BOV is a $200 noise maker that may end up actually hurting the performance of your car. While 99% of the members here will advise against them, 40% have BOV's. My best advice is to do your research first, then make an informed decision.

Here are some links I suggest you check out!

And here's great coverage of FAQs from NASIOC.

thanks alot man. amma start my search right now.. but i would like to hear stuff from ppl that have the product.. u know what i mean. I started getting the 411 about the transmission and i found some pretty interesting stuff about the 02, the one i have. Now my question would be what would be better, swap to an 05 STI or just change internals to a better stage. I have been searching he web for it but i want to hear it from you guy own personal perspective.

thanks alot for the help. this new project is going to be build up quick with u guys help.
