in my stage 2 WRX, I was getting about 210 miles on a tank in heavy L.A. traffic, about 300 if travel involves freeways and about 330 on long road trips.

on my first tank of gas in my V-8 Mustang (just bought it on Thursday) I got 280 miles in heavy L.A. traffic. The fuel comptuer said my average speed over that tank of gas was 12 MPH...and the Mustang runs on 87 octane

Check my profile for my mods.....I have been averaging 25.5 to 27 mpg for months now, but I have the advantage of Shell V-Power 93 octane here in the Chicagoland area. And I definately don't drive like a puss.
    I drive a WRX and work for Harley-Davidson .

I could coast down a 7.5% grade in Neutral and never see 300 miles on a full tank in the sti.

When I really take it easy (which is rare) I see 265-275 miles on a full tank and no better than 18 MPG

I normally get between 27 and 29 mpg in my 06 rex. If i drive really hard I still get 320 miles on my tank.

Same thing for me. I have been getting 22 mpg but I am still in break in so it will be lower because of the engine parts are not ect ect ect and also I kinda drive it bad because I am still learning. I do coast in neutral often on downhills and stuff.

i would get rid of the CAI to avoid further problems down the road that result from intake installs on the wrx. and stay away from the blow off also. but its been said 1million times already. take it easy and shift at 3000rpm and you wont guzzle gas

or.... you could study alllootttt and use Open-ECU and flash it yourself. There are a ton of staged maps people have made that you can use. The cable for open ecu is 80 bucks.
