    I have been reading... im learning, still a newb.... I know modding is an addiction ( previous car which was a s14 240 died due to me modding it ....) ... im hoping now I will read and take much better of this car....


    Im looking to do gauges first.... any suggestions ?

    I want a DIN setup, since im thinking of taking the stock radio out and putting in a alpine mp3 unit i have lying around.... any suggestions ?

    bought extended warranty to 6yrs/ 80k warranty.....and with taxes etc... .around 22

    grats on the new ride.
    I got mine brand new 11 miles. I started modding at 200. good luck!!!
    I would say get some autometer gauges, good bang for the buck.
    definetly get a boost gauge and maybe an egt gauge?
    I ended up with a A/F gauge just to fill the gap in my gauge pod. Basically just a light show.

    worth it to get the factory boost gauge ? or would u suggest something else...

    I have an 04, same color, I love the car.

    If you want gauges Defi is my personal favorite but extremely expensive. There is a group buy on the new Maddad gauges (you"ll have to go look I am too lazy) that are ~$350 for a set of three (EGT and two others, your choice) they include a warning light which is a must for me.

    My favorites, you may have other requirements.

    fact boost gauge is too expensive.
    defi gauges are by far one of the best but too expensive. imo.
