so the car has finally arrived at the dealer since i ordered it.. my dad is pickin it up in the next few days... so how old r most of the subbie owners on thie forum??

Don't let your friends tell you how to drive.
...and don't let them drive it either.

But by all means...If your Dad is buying you this car, let him drive it anytime he wants. It could be a special project for the two of you to work on for years to come. There are plenty of safe mods and ways to make your rex a little different from the others.

Welcome and grats on the car! Be careful and remember that just because you don't see a cop...it doesn't mean they aren't watching...*looks around for cops* we aren't safe here...oh and don't forget the breakin period of 1000 miles! Don't break it before you get to have fun in it!

Speed limits are just suggestions! Just hope that you can worm your way out of your first ticket in the new car! I have friends with badges...and they have a pool going as to when I get my first ticket!
