    Thinking of upgrading exhaust!

Just wanted to know if the stock downpipe outlet was 2.5 or 3.0? Thinking of buying a BPM MKIII and wanted to know if it would bolt to the stock downpipe? Thanks

I think the stock is a 2" but you should ask BPM if their catback will fit a stock downpipe flange. I have the HKS and it fits the stock. On a side note though, the WRX catback is pretty free flowing and tha main restriction is in the downpipe with the cats. Getting a downpipe would be more of a power advantage than getting a catback.
