    finally got my rex

After years of waiting im finally the owner of a wrx. its an 03 rally blue with 31k miles. I got it for 12k. So far the car has magna flow exhaust and a blitz bov and turbo timer. I was wondering if the turbo timer is worth keeping and what my first mods should be? Also any other maintance tips you guys have.

    congrats, amazing price

The TT is not totally necessary, but there's no harm in keeping it on either.
The first thing you should do is take off the BOV if it's not at least a 50/50 recirc because it'll cause you to run way rich between shifts, which will cause some problems.

And here's some FAQ's from Nasioc that might help:

Depending on how much money you have, I'd get some engine management such as a Cobb AccessPort, a downpipe and an uppipe and flash Cobb's stage 2 map right off the bat. Otherwise you can start off with some suspension upgrades. All depends on what you want to improve.

Welcome! Many of us on here also dreamed of getting one, and looked around before we finally got it. When you put some mods on yourself, you will fall in love!
