    New Member In Need Of Help!!

    Hello everyone,
    i live in New Jersey and i just purchased an 04 wrx. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this year/model has a internal amp and if so where i could locate it?

    If equipped it's under the passenger seat.
    Edit: read that wrong, although I think the factory sub is self powered.

    I believe that the head unit had the power amp for the front and rear door speakers. Cheesy separates up front for an upgrade and the factory upgrade sub was self powered under the passenger seat. You might want to ask in Cockpit and Cabin. All I had in my car was wiring. No radio, or speakers. Early '04 STi's got a "blank" panel where the radio could go. Three year old memoires.
    Cones don't count at Hillclimbs.
