I don't have any experiance with a K&N filter, so I can't help you there. Both up and down pipes are great mods for the subbies. The up-pipe and down pipe have to be replaced separately though, the dp doesn't "get rid of the up". You'll need to get a cel fix for either of these mods, unless you opt to go with a Cobb Accessport as well. (http://www.cobbtuning.com). As far as the CAI, it's pretty much a waste of money that you won't see any gains from and will just make you run lean.

Ok, K&N is money saver in the long run. Up pipe is great for turbo boost response. This is located from the exhaust manifold to the turbo. The down pipe is located after the turbo. The Downpipe has 2 cats, if you get a high flow or catless one it will free up some HP/TQ. Catless will be louder and provide more hp/tq. CAI, provides whoosh/turbo sounds, I've had it for 4 years no problems. But most people will sway you against it and yeah there are better mods than getting a CAI.

Most CAI screw with your a/f ratio, do a search on this forum, theres plenty of info about it. In fact it may be good for you to do some reading here before you do any mods - I did, and I learned alot about what mods are useful and what mods are crap, and why.

    yeah

I found a new place to chill, and I got too much free time - it's a bad combination

I figure I haven't pissed too many people off since I've been here, so I might as well hang around and learn as much as I can hehe
