    2010 WRX sedan

Hey guys, I'm new to the forums and i had a quick question about my car. I put on a new exhaust on my car and the angle in which my exhaust sits is a little off. Currently its melting my bumper and i couldn't find any heat shields for my year i was hoping someone has a link or any ideas that could help me fix this.

Can you lower the hangers? Also, what exhaust? Have you tried contacting the manufacturer or installer?

Yep what TownLine said. You need longer hangers. I'd order them ASAP so you don't do too much damage to your bumper.

Go to a muffler shop. They can re route the piping so the exhaust is not touching the bumper.

or........ use a curved file, and file the bumper until you have a 2mm gap. masking tape will help for a smooth line with no extra paint damage. most heat shields are Aluminum, and riveted on. you'd just need to find the pliable aluminum.. *opens beer can...
