    Filled a void...with a WRX Wagon.

About 12 years or so ago I was in the car scene. My car of choice was a 1994 5.0L Ford Mustang Cobra. Worked my butt off for it and to mod it, loved that car. I was very active in a club called the "MID ATLANTIC COBRA ASSOCIATION " or MACA for short. Great bunch of guys and really developed a true love for performance cars.

Sold it, semi reluctantly, but do not regret it at all.

Over the years I have Constantly read many articles about cars and tried to see what may spark my interest in the future. Well, here I am today with what I think is the best overall performance and practical vehicle for MY needs and personality.

Bought my first Subaru and do not see myself going a way where for a long time. I'm excited about having my WRX Wagon and can't wait to add parts.

My goal is to have a car that is fun to drive daily, enough power to make you laugh and smile each time you "lay in to it", and still be comfortable for long trips (2hrs) to the beach with the family. Probably some where around 280-300hp, brake and suspension upgrades and so on.

It will NOT be a track car but may hit a 1/4mile strip here and there just for fun.

Really looking forward to doing a lot of research here from all those who are knowledgeable members. Thanks in advance...and...here she is!!

    2005 WRX Wagon
    World Rally Blue
104k miles (with timing kit and water pump to come soon)
100% stock down to the original air filter (lol, gross!)
    18" wheels.
    Mint interior.
Exterior is a 10, maybe 15 footer. However it's good to have family in the auto body business who is also a WRX enthusiast (2013).

I love those wagons, especially the older ones. You'll find that stage 2 looking pretty tempting for those quarter mile passes.

Thanks again everyone. Getting ready to do the timing belt soon so I can have her for another 150k hopefully.

I was gonna buy a silver wagon same mileage with blue interior rather then black but it sold before I could look at it, this one fell into my hands over night. Had to drive 2 hours to get her in North Jersey.

    Glad I did!
