    Just Ordered 2015 CWP WRX!

This is my first brand new car purchase and I couldn't be more stoked! 2015 crystal white pearl wrx has been ordered with sti short shifter and sti performance exhaust. I am told it will be 3-4 months before delivery.... Is this pretty standard? Gonna be a long painful wait.

Anyways, does anyone else out there have a base wrx with the sti performance exhaust? Im not looking for performance gains really, just a better deeper sound without being too loud. If anyone has any decent vids, I havent been able to find much out there yet.

Thanks yall, looking forward to getting involved on this forum!

Welcome and congrats on the purchase!

3-4 months is pretty standard for both WRX and STi at the moment of this post.
2015 CWP WRX STi ... But how did I get roped back into an EJ motor?!

Welcome! Great color btw I haven't really been too impressed by the STI exhaust. I'd look into an Invidia Q300 if you want that deeper sound to it w/out it making your car sound like a ricer. Take a look at SubiSpeed's youtube page: https://youtube.com/subispeed
they have videos of all the exhausts they sell and you can hear what they sound like at idle, acceleration, and drive by.
    Cheers!

Jesus that Q300 sounds good. Is that just a catback? I gotta worry about emissions here in MO. And here I was telling myself I wasnt going to mess with any mods this time around...

Yup, that's just a catback so it won't mess with your emissions. I have the luck to live in a county where they don't do smog/emissions testing, so I'm basically free to do w/e I want

Congrats AGood! I just got the same car, CWP with STI sts and love it! My dealer had a modified Base with the Invidia and it looked great. We are lucky in Phoenix that WRX'S are on the lots, don't know if I could stand the wait without taking a road trip!

Thanks dude! I am a huge fan of this color and cant wait to admire it in my driveway instead of on a computer screen... I'm pretty sure there isnt a wrx in stock on any lot within at least 5 states lol

Thanks dude! I'm really enjoying reading all the builds to see what options there are out there for this new model, both performance-wise and aesthetically.

I like the SubiSpeed DRL swap to the boomerangs. That will most likely be my first mod.

Just got word from the dealer that my car should be here sometime in March, well ahead of the 3-4 month estimate!

Just be really careful putting the new bulbs back in. At least for me it was a pain in the #$# to align the light in that small space to get it back into the slot.

I'll definitely be swapping out the lighting as soon as I pick her up. Heard a lot of good things about the OLM LED low beam setup. Don't have fogs on the base so just looking for a better low beam setup. I'm not sure I want to go with the OLM drl/high beam setup since I'm not huge on the idea of having them run high beams full time. Might just wait a little while until some other options come out to replace the drl's.

You can grab a kit off Subispeed to run the eye lids as drls instead of the high beams. I think it's $50 or so.
