This, as long as i've never had an issue with the gas there before. What I didn't fully realize at first is how hard it is to find 93 outside of Milwaukee!
Whatever gas you use in whatever car it doesn't help your car one bit to use a higher octane. Waste of money. Nissan says to put 87 in my Xterra. I put 87. For the STi I'll put 93 though even though I'll be stock as I believe it's recommended.
e10 is more knock resistant than straight gasoline. I know for cars running ethanol free 94 octane in Canada Cobb recommends to use the 91 octane ACN map, and some still have knock issues. Typically, the more ethanol you can get, the better.
I have 10%. I went to an "EtOH Free premium" station in TN and their gas was ****. Maybe old, IDK, but it actually dropped my IAM so I have never tried it again.
There is no reason per se that E10 should be a problem. It does mess with shelf life and has storage issues though.
I might be a little late chiming in, but big boy names dont mean squat if they arent busy.
Busy gas stations= less junk that sits in the tanks and ends up in your vehicles tank.
i use shell when i get the chance i live up north so we dont have it. moving to myrtle in a few months will be using only that when i move down. with my shell rotella t6 full synthetic FTW
