    New Member from Upstate NY

Hi all! I am the proud owner of a 2014 WRX purchased new just before Xmas 2013, and I couldn't be happier with this car! So much fun to drive! Eventually I plan on a stage 2 tune and a short shifter. Any advice for this newbie? Thanx!

Welcome. I hope you are getting the parts to go along with your stage 2 tune. Like TBE, Intake, and AP.

Thanks! The plan is for an intake, downpipe, cat back exhaust and access port. Was going to go through Cobb for the stage 2 kit. Should I get a high flow cat or will the stock one suffice for this?

run a catless if you know someone who will inspect it without looking.. i do if not stock cat should be fine. make sure you keep the under carrage washed with all the salt up here future mods are no fun with rusted bolts

Not at all. Was out that way this weekend. Brantingham Lake. About an hour north of Utica.

If you are buying the Cobb downpipe, it has a cat.

Stage 2 requires an aftermarket downpipe, so the stock one would be removed.
14 sedan Limited: AEM intake, Tomioka IC hose, Cobb AP V3, Invidia down pipe with 3" cat, custom 3" mandrel bent single exhaust, Aem air fuel gauge,Cobb knob,Perrin Pitch Stop mount, SPT front strut tower brace, K-Sport coilovers@1.5" drop.

07 Duramax LBZ- 26psi,intake, TBE, Diablosport programmer, Edge Insight with EGT, EGR block off, BD exhaust manifold, PPE fuel valve.
