Same difference, eh?
Yeah, there's one youtube video in particular that made me fall in love with it.

    How's the fitment?

I like this bodystyle better than the 2015. I suppose I could have gotten a 2012-2014 too... in the end I'm very happy with my choice. So far at least.

Just curious if you had driven a 2015...

Welcome and congrats! What made you choose the 2011 wrx over another bimmer? What do you like the most about the wrx coming from a 3 series?

Thanks! I wanted a "newer" sedan but don't like the E90//F30 bodies. To me the E46 was the best chassis. I almost went with an E46 M3 coupe but ended up going with the WRX and I think I made the right choice.

WRX has a lot more power than my E46. Will be fun modding this Subie for sure.

    Congrats Mike !!!
Im a old BMW guy as well and I was surprised you think the WRX is not as good as the E46 325!, I had a 2001 330 CI and also a E36 M3 and I sold both cars years and years ago but I felt the WRX felt better IMO but since you switched recently instead of going from great cars to Crappy cars only to drive a WRX which is what I did, I may upgrade the suspension too when I get my WRX! that's good feed back!

Im sure your going to love the car and once again Congrats!!!!!

Thanks Jason. The only thing my bimmer had over this WRX is the suspension and the interior... well I had Bilstein coilovers on the E46 so definitely better than the stock WRX. Will be upgrading it soon though.

I have many plans for this car and I cannot wait.

I had a local tuner shop put it on last year, and they did say at installation that Perrin sometimes give 'em trouble. I didn't notice at first, but the drivers side tips sag about half an inch down from the other side, hard to tell unless you really look at it, but it bothers me. I asked them about it today and one of the exhaust hangers is stuck on a flange or something. A cut here and a weld there and they'll line it up next time I take it in.

But as far as looks go - nice looking tips, and they stick out just enough to be aggressive looking without being obnoxious.
    Not so much anymore.
