Finally picked up my new 2015 WRX Premium. I ordered it in mid March with an expected delivery of the end of May. After a short delay due to the holiday my car finally came in and I took her home last night. This has been very humbling experience because I realized how bad I really am at driving a manual. The stock exhaust has a nice rumble to it but I do have a Nameless Muffler Delete with 4"tips on order. Will post pictures/videos and make a new thread when its installed.

    You can always transfer plates

My guess is that a trade-in was involved.

Hang in there, I found the manual/clutch was very drivable after a short time behind the wheel.

So these plates are from earlier than 2010

    hmm, didnt think of that

when i renewed my registration (which in NY is every 2 years) they made me get the new plates. i guess they stopped doing that bc as i was just waiting for my kid to get off the bus, half the cars driving by had the new ones, half had the old. i was annoyed when i had to get the new plate. it looked really bad on a silver/blue car.

When I renewed on my previous car (that I just traded in) they asked if I wanted the new plates for an additional fee but it was not required to switch.
