Passed right under the Golden Gate, hit the soil in Richmond, and straight into my driveway. Ordered 4/26, delivered 5/31 with factory short shifter.
Impressions after a few days of driving around coastal mtns, rough wine country roads, and cities:

-Shifter is short throw indeed, stiff as hell. Deliberate Effort is rewarded. A little extra is needed to engage reverse.

-Excellent mpg during break-in period. 34 highway. This will drop

-Only one gripe so far: Because I hate bright displays at night, I used the dash dimmer and can report it emits an annoying buzz when dialed down.

I also averaged 34 mpg on the HW when i picked up mine. (manual transmission) But why do you say it will drop and what do you think it will drop to?

It will drop when I start dropping people after the break-in period is what I meant, sorry.
