2014 WRX here! First MT car!

Hey everyone! Just purchased a DGM 14' Sedan on 4/24/14. My roommate drove me and the Subaru home! Spent a few hours in the weekend and drove to work on Monday the 28th.
It's been a few weeks and I've pretty much got the basics down. Quick question on shifting. To get nice smooth shifts, is it okay to gradually step on the gas while releasing the clutch? Kinda like being stationary to first gear, I'm assuming this applies to all gears?

My Sedan came with the STI short throw as well. Unless I release the clutch before the rpms drop low enough, no "clunk". ::n00b::

Love the shifting FAQ btw! Great stuff!
