    New 03 bugeye owner

Hey guys I'm from Seattle and I just got my 03 wrx this last weekend, black with low miles and super clean and im loving it!

I was wondering about what your opinions are on the best looking rim offset for this style wrx, I really want new rims but I come from the lifted offroad world so my offsets and rim sizes are a bit off now haha. Thanks!

Aww, it looks just like mine!

My advice? Keep the stock wheels or find a set of '04 STI BBS wheels (05+ STI wheels are the wrong bolt pattern). Welcome to the club!

Yupperz I would get that done and the timing belt. The uppipe has a cat inline and after time it can break up and damage turbo blades.

101k? My car had 101k at the end...

This car wasn't in any accidents by any chance was it? Does the gauge cluster say "STI" at the bottom? If so, I think you bought my car.

For the offset question, that would depend on the width of the wheel too. 8" doesn't give you that super wide look but it'd be the best for performance, then go with like a +45 offset or as close to stock as you can. That will give you a large tire selection too and won't cost a fortune for some odd size set.

Nope, mine was totaled. Really totaled. I'd feel bad if that ever got put back on the road. Congrats on finding my twin though! I have a build thread in my signature if you're interested.

Awesome bugeye man! In between buying new wheels, try plasti dipping your current ones black. That would look just incredibly sweet on your ride in my opinion. Murdered out bugeyes always make my day.

Yep, although personally, I preferred Grimmspeed's coated uppipe. You ought to PM WTF Tuning, a vendor here. They might be able to offer a better deal than Rallysport, although Rallysport is well-respected as well.
