Looking good man, welcome to the bugeye club! I got my midnight black '03 back in February, it only had 62K miles on it. I haven't gotten the up-pipe changed yet but I've been reading a lot of recommendations to do so. The Grimmspeed one is a little more expensive but it's a good quality one and they have a very detailed DIY guid.

Does adding the uppipe create more sound at all? If it does im assuming its pretty minimal maybe a tiny bit more rumble am i wrong?

I dot think you will hear to much difference in exhaust noise with only having an up pipe. I think at the most you will hear the turbo spool a little louder. The '03 bugeye exhaust is pretty restrictive and quiet. Does yours have the dual tip?
