    Another new 2015 owner.

Just bought my first Subaru. I've been a long time VW/ Audi fan, decided it was time to try something new.I went with a 2015 Launch Edition WRB STI. I pick it up next week, very excited!

When you get to the dealership, ask them to drive a WRX also. You'll really fall in love with that motor (worth it for the experience).

Fall in love with the EJ motor or the F series one?

I've read so many reviews, I'm looking forward to seeing how it feels for myself.

The FA engine is amazing. The EJ is ancient. The new motor is the sole reason I got the '15 WRX over the STI.

    No not at all!

I do not regret my purchase whatsoever. I appreciate the superiority of the FA20 motor and the effort that Subaru has put into the new design. However, at the end of the day, the STi has a far superior drivetrain and, frankly, is more fun to drive.

The FA motor. It's a demonstration of what Subaru (despite being a small car manufacturer) can still pull out of a sleeve.

Haha, that makes me feel better. I've been into modding/ building VW's & Audis for awhile now, and I needed a change of pace. A friend of mine just took delivery of her 15' STI Limited last week and she took me for a cruise in it. I absolutely loved the way it handled and felt. The symmetrical AWD system felt more ground-hugging and secure to the road over the past Quattro and FWD cars I've owned.

My plans for my 15' aren't too crazy, just a cat-back, a Perrin Strut brace, tint, rear sway-bar and end links and lowering springs whenever they're available.

I'd love a roof rack for it, but it seems that the Thule systems available don't quite fit without using these adapters that look like they'll damage the roof.

I can promise you this is not necessary.

You might reconsider this. The 2015s are 1.2" lower than the 2014s from the factory. At a measly 4.9" of ground clearance, the car is already VERY low.
