True but people have already modified this engine in the past so its easy to assume that this shouldn't take too long. I hope anyway. I just want a DP, Exhaust, and a possible tune up lol

Everyone is so geared up to add a down pipe and tune... Not sure I want to be a guinea pig for this platform. The power seems pretty adequate unlike my 2013 wrx which seemed flat

I'm sure we'll all be the first to hear of any performance parts coming out. I'm just antsy, this new engine seems like it has so much potential, just a couple little add-ons and... it'll never end

I have been doing a lot of research on axleback exhausts for my 2015 WRX. I finally decided on the Nameless Muffler Delete. I emailed Nameless and asked about their plans to release an axleback muffler delete for the 2015's and this was his response...

We just finished the first prototype, and should have something available in the next week or so. We will be offering an axleback just like we do for the 2011-2014 WRX/STI as well. No word on pricing just yet, but it will be structured similarly to our existing WRX/STI sedan parts.

I'll keep your info on file and drop you a line when we are ready to release those parts.

    Thank you,

Correction: Nameless has CBE and muffler deletes available on their website for the '15 WRX/STI

Anyone get the OEM short shifter on their car from the factory? I popped off the console to get a look at it this past weekend to try and get an idea if the older model aftermarket short shifters would work and it looks way different. I'm wondering if its because its the OEM short shifter, or if the shifter in general was changed this year.

Subaru adopted cable-shift for the 2015 WRX. The older 5MT was direct linkage like the STi 6MT.
