    New STI Gal

    Hi All,

I'm happy to be back in the WRX club after a 7 year mini-van hiatus. I owned a 2002 WRX bug-eye (purchased May '01) until 2007. I am now the proud owner of a 2015 STI Limited and having a blast!!!!!! This thing rocks but is way too new - no accessories ready yet. I need a way to transport my bike and kayak (yes, I will be doing that with a sports car). Patience... Anyway, I look forward to reading and posting in these forums. I'd forgotten how fun speed in an AWD can be

Very nice! I'm looking forward to hopefully picking mine up in a week.

    Welcome and congrats!

DGM! For the win! Love the new ones in that color, and for good reason ad my '14 hatch is the same. Man that STi looks good in it.

Got to sit in the new STi at the NY Auto Show last week and I must say (without driving each yet, which I will soon) you made the right call. STi just feels like the right car to go for.

I'm in the same boat as you in terms of transporting bikes/kayaks. Have you tried looking through the manual for mounting point locations, or pulling up the molding to see if anything is under there? My old mazdaspeed had the fixed point locations on the roof, but no holes in the molding strips so I have to drill them. I'm really hoping the WRX/STI have the same kind of setup, just haven't been able to get anyone to confirm it yet.
