ima look in to that.. i need to find out why my check engine light keeps coming on and its not getting link to the obd2 plug its weird it drives fine and everything so maybe ima have to dig around some and find out this problem also how hard do you think it will be to find this boost leak problem? is it worth the $50 to have someone do it for me or do i do it on my own? i was a mechanic for 4 years prior to joining the army now i dont have **** for tools with me as my $4500.00 tool box is back home in my garage

It honestly sounds like your car does not have a waste gate issue, it sounds like it's in limp mode.

If you don't have a code reader go to autozone or somewhere - get the code for the engine light and post your findings.

    That's where I would start!

I wouldn't change anything with the car until the first issue gets fixed. Adding additional variables to a poorly tuning car won't help

Here is a link to show you an option

Then pay someone to do it. Or buy an air compressor. A gallon one is under 100...however that's pretty small

    When you're running -6 to -10 psi?
I having done much research on checking boost leaks yet, but I'm pretty sure you're supposed to put up to 20 psi through to pinpoint leaks

ok so last night i installed my hood scoop and today i installed my spark plugs which i dont see why everyone said its all day thing? took me like 45 mins if that super eazy! check engine light came back on today for p0102
p0113 and p0542 iddk what that means so i guess its time to figure it out and monday at 10 the car goes in to the speed shop to find its boost leak which i think its at the turbo inlet/intake to turbo i think the pipes junk so now only a few minor things to get fixxed before shes all better!!
