    Also, check and see if the uppipe has been changed out. The 02's had a cat on the uppipe which is known for breaking loose and destroying turbos. Check that out. A new catless uppipe would be the very first i do to your car. Good luck and welcome to ClubWRX!

    Thank you both. I did a good visual inspection of the uppipe, and the whole exhaust system. And from what I could see, is all the heat sheilds are rusted from the age of the vehicle. Nothing has been changed from what I can tell since the original owner had it. But I will look around for a place to have them do a compression test.
