    Still trying...

    Hello everyone,

I think its time I step up to the big boy world. I currently drive a 2003 Mustang v6, but I have been looking at a WRX for a little while now.
Hopefully soon I can be one of the many proud owners.

Not really sure a WRX is a "big boy" car, but welcome, and good luck in your search!

I'm not sure if you and I have a wide difference with regards of that term, but I would definitely consider it compared to the car I have now .

Good luck with the search. Check this thread out. You might find a few subaru specific things in there.

Actually I was really indifferent on this one: 2008 Subaru WRX 5 Speed Turbo Serviced&Warranty&Financing!!!!!!

Really, I don't want / need the subwoofer, the amp, or miscellaneous tinting. However, It does look like a decent car otherwise. I think its a tad bit overpriced though?

08 wrx is the worst of them all from my reading and there really is nothing special about a wrx.

    That would be a pass.

2008 is an off year for the WRX to begin with and that car doesn't look to have been taken care of. Mismatched colors (green Hella horns and blue tinted fogs) , curb rash on the wheels and smoked taillights.

    You can find much better.

Yeah, that's disappointing. Pretty hard to find a decent WRX for a decent price and low miles around here.

Took me 7 months, but I got a certified 2011 premium sedan bone stock for not much more than that 2008 is listed for, with half the miles. one will come along sometime. Don't rush it!

Welcome. Patience. It will take a while to find a used WRX in good condition. Juts be careful & research before you buy. There are a lot of modded(not always modded correctly)cars out there.

try to get a 09+..thats when they started coming with 265hp. The 08 only had i think 224hp because of the small turbo. Subbies have really good resale value so the difference between used and new is small unless your looking at cars 5yrs +. But its hard to find ones that have been unmolested in that range.

Might be worth it just to down and get a new one. I got a new 2014 wrx for 72months on 1.9% interest.
