    In need of help

    Hey guys i just got my Invidia Q300 exhaust for my '13 hatch and i was wondering if it's necessary to get an adapter for the stock DP?

    You risk having an exhaust leak without it.

    Thanks for the input guys. but i heard i can take the donut gasket off and bolt the mid pipe to the stock dp with a gasket that came with the exhaust. is that good? would it leak?

    I had the reverse. 3" DP to 2.5" catback and used only the donut gasket. Worked great. But I would get some kind of adapter like has been suggested already just so you know it's done right.
