    what to do

hi new to the site but hello to my fellow subie lovers. I have a 02 wrx that i am gutting and plan on doing an sti swap later on but my 2.0 is running good. should i invest in roll cage and body work or suspension first. roll cage and rewirring will be a nightmare, but i can do most suspension work myself she will need to go to the body shop though rust found under the radiator. where to start when i buy suspension parts do the work myself. Body work roll cage can not touch im torn because i love driving this car. what whould you do.

What? No, you don't need a roll cage. I would just work on suspension first.

What makes you believe you need a roll cage? By the time it's required in motorsports, you shouldn't be asking us "if" it's needed...

    Get a role cage.

Remove A-Pillar, B-pillar, and C-pillar, as well as roof and glass.

    **** bishes.

    Profit.

I love how everyone thinks "Oh I should do an STi swap" without understand what's involved and the strengths and weaknesses of each design.

For example, swapping for an STi transmission may be worth the $$.

Swapping the motor would be a waste of $$.

The roll cage is a stupid idea.
