    Nice choice on year. Blob eyes are my favorite models. Take your time and make sure you get one that hasn't been modded or lightly modded. Heavily modded WRXs are finicky and, while they could perform fine, are much more susceptible to failures. Could take a while, so be patient.

    Be aware that most used "performance" Subarus have been abused or modified. You should preferably locate an unmodified car unless this is to be your project car and not daily driver.

    welcome! it'd be worth it to have a mechanic with a turbo subaru background give it a once over before you buy it. it could save you some BIG headaches in the future. goodluck!
