2008 Subaru WRX wagon HID Kit

Hey guys... i'm new to this forum and i just wanted some help from the experts. i was looking to upgrade my head lights and wanted some of your thoughts. i currently drive a 2008 Subaru WRX wagon with stock lights and wanted something with a little more kick. Any ideas on where i could buy some quality lights for a decent price? I know i would need an HID kit so any tips would really help.

I know this topic has probably been done before but i'm new too all this and need some help.

    Thank you in advance

    -Albert

Lightwerkz is pricy, but nothing but good reviews all around.

I got my HID retrofit from Lightwerks I was able to get it done over a weekend. I had to take some extra time since I painted my headlights.

Any advice in bulb color? i was thinking about either 5000k or 6000k but not sure which provided better visibility.

5k will be better than 6k. IIRC 4300k is the maximum actual light output of HIDs

5k is pure white and 6k has a hint of blue. I had 6k and loved the look and output.

4300K Warm White (3200 Lumens) (OEM HID)
    5000K Pure White (3050 Lumens)
6000K Tinge of Blue (2900 Lumens)

The higher the lumens the more visible light we can see.
