    Newbie from Miami and need some advice

    Hey guys! Today I purchased the car of my dreams, 2012 subaru wrx with 19000. This is my first turbo car , so I want to make sure I do it right and take car of my car, so what advice do you guys give me on my purchase, how to take care of it, what mods I need to do, how should I shift by. 4 k or 5 k? Any advice I appreciate it

    For maintenance, read your service manual and the service charts. Do everything it says when it says.

    Start with the thread linked above for firsts mods. For everything else, search the sub forums here and on NASIOC and read all the stickies you can.

    I agree with following the service intervals in the manual. However, my manual states to change the oil every 7500 miles which I'm going to do every 3750 instead. Piece of mind.

    shift by speed for economy. shift by rpm for the pushed in the seat smile on your face

    You can just ship your old oil to me then...

    5 gallon pail. Should have one filled up by my next oil change.
