It's looking like we'll be going to see the Auto this weekend. I'm not even worried about the transmission anymore. Just gonna deal with it.

I notice a lot of people use premium fuel in their WRXs. Just wondering if this is a typically recommended thing for boosted cars or is it owner preference?

It's mandatory. Subaru requires it on all their turbocharged cars and the 3.0R 6-cyl engine found in the Legacy and Outback.

This sedan showed up at a dealership in FWB, FL today and I requested pics. Literally just got onto the lot. 5 sp. WRX.

The closest five speed wagon that I'm able to get (at least that I know of) is over 400 miles away. So this is possibly my next car and first subi.

Very nice, good luck. Don't get attached until you're driving off with it

Might I be a debbie downer, a wet clothe, and say, be patient and don't rush.

Yeah, I know what I shouldn't do... It's just a matter of not doing it. Haha. I'm also just really ready to be done with my Accord. Still an impatient child, I suppose.

Can anyone confirm that wagon insurance is usually cheaper than a sedan?

I don't think it should be much of a difference at all. My 2011 isn't even that bad, since it's a four door its considered a family sedan. At least that is the case in VA.

Best thing to do would be to just call your insurance company. It can be vastly differently from person to person.

And OP, I only said that because I made that very mistake before and rushed into buying an Acura.

I understand. I don't want to rush into it, but I also don't want to miss out on a great car. And I appreciate being told again not to because I'm proned to doing just that.

Sorry for bad luck with the Acura. I'm interested: why it was a mistake?

Okay, so I found a nice 2006 wrx wagon with low miles and within my budget. I'm wondering if the larger motor will get significantly worse gas mileage.

I personally love my hatch, and the awd is a big deal to me as well so I chose a wrx.

If you really think you found a car a presale inspection can be done to confirm if the car is really what it appears to be. Find a reputable shop and pay them the $150-$200 and have a little
    Piece of mind.

Make a deal with the seller that of all things he lists are wrong and nothing else you will pay the inspection and purchase the car if it has underlying issues and needs major repair the seller would be responsible for the inspection bill.

    My 2 cents

HA! I HATE that dealership. I had issues with one of their salesmen when I went there.
