    Just bought my first Subaru, a 2014 WRX. Any thought on what my first modification should be? Also what wax do you guys use on your own Subaru?

    Did your car come with a factory installed short shifter? If not, that would be my #1 recommendation. A Kartboy short shifter with updated bushings and a better shift knob (Kartboy, Cobb, etc). That mod alone transformed the shifter for me which you use everytime you drive the car.

    My next mods are the radio (it is just awful) and then sway bars, tires, and an alignment.

    Definately I would definately go for the shifter... and if you are building on a budget like I am then I would go with the perrin short throw adapter... I have mine adjusted all the way up and it is really nice and for the $80 I paid for it just makes the deal even sweeter...

    My car only has a few options and the short shifter kit and sti knob were included!
