    Red face my 09 wrx

Ok so I'm a first time subaru owner. I've had my 09 wrx impreza for about 4 months now and today I messed up on coming down on the gears :/ when I stopped at the light I noticed a rattling noise every time I accelerated and it only d9es it when I accelerate. And very noticeable after 2500 rpm. Does anyone know what it could be?

While we wait for the video can you elaborate on "messed up"? What did you do?

Yeah what happened was between two traffic lights about a mile away and I was on 5th gear going 60 I tried lower it the gear down but accidentally put it on second and car jerked on me and quickly pit it on neutral then 4th. As I got to the light and made a complete stop I pressed the accelerator and as the rpm climbed to no more than 2500 it started doing a rattling sound.

Weird. Shouldn't be a problem getting into second... A little rough but 60 is do able in second.
Are you aware 09 are known for spinning bearings?

Going to guess a spun rod bearing but we'd need to hear it to be sure.

Ya there's been a LOT of 08-10 with this problem. It could happen straight off the lot with 10 miles or it could be whenever...
Do you have a warranty of it at all?
