It might be paid off but you still get $$$ when trading it in.

Yep! I did say that if Subaru shoehorned an FA20 into a WRX I would buy one. That's just what they did, so I guess I'm held to my word.

I was waiting to see what Subaru would do with the STi but I'm not impressed.
2015 CWP WRX STi ... But how did I get roped back into an EJ motor?!

Yeah I wasn't impressed with what they did with the STi either. A buddy that had an '06 STi (and a '06 WRX before the STi) sold his STi about 1-2 years ago to bank some money thinking Subaru would do something amazing to the STi but they didn't so he sold his TL-Type S (had it for a bit) and bought a '14 EVO X MR lol

Pretty much got the wife's approval. She just doesn't like two things.

A: It will still use premium gas (I do use my car for work traveling from site to site so that is a valid point)

B: It will be a manual transmission again and she can't drive a stick (Haven't taught her on my '07)

I started tracking with a 2006 Cayman S, after the first year I was ready for a real race car thus I bought a 1987 911 full blown race car that I now club race.....

The WRX/Sti would be more for some track days in the summer and also possibly for a winter rally event..... maybe Targa Newfoundland......
