Baked chips are my favorite. Unless I want the original Lays or Doritos. But nobody asked me so now I will go away.

I like Cheetos. Will they make more power for my new bugeye?
How about GReddy stickers? I hear those are like 7hp each.

The downstream O2 might have a non-fouler mod to it, hence the lack of CEL.

Plug in an OBDII scanner and you can find out.

The Cobb dp is likely catted, thus less likely to throw a CEL. I had a catless dp on my 02 with no issues, but looking back I would have gone catted. Check the up pipe. It's right under the turbo, can't see it from the angle of your pic. If that's stock (ie it has a ton of heat shielding), look into replacing that first once your ensure the basic health of your bugeye. With my 02, I took it to a dealership and had a master tech do a full inspection. $80 was worth the peace of mind to me. I figure they make money off of labor, so they have more motivation to find problems then overlook them. Welcome and gratz!

As far as the AP goes, many shops offer free baseline maps and install (not that it's hard). That's the route I went. It was same price as online, plus I got facetime with my tuner which I later use to tune on e85.

congrats and welcome, from a fellow n00b.

We're in similar boats... my poor 2002 wagon has 144k on the odo but, at least i know the previous owner.

best of luck during the rebuild! make a thread in the builds section so we can track it

Got a Cobb AP V1 today from the previous owner. Looking into how all that works so I can start logging and seeing what it looks like. Once I get a serial-port connected to my laptop...

Appears I already had the Cobb stage 2... Anxious to get some results from the monitoring when my cable shows up to connect my laptop
