    Howdy!

I've been a fan of the BRZ's since they were announced and the local Subie dealer had a '13 BRZ on the lot that was about 1K below MSRP. I decided to check it out but I'm a pretty big guy and climbing into the BRZ was like putting on a pair of shoes that is 2 sizes to small. Well, that sucks.

The sales guy, undeterred by the fact that I'm about 3 feet taller than the BRZ said "what about a WRX?" I've also been a fan of the WRX for many years now, and I especially like the 3rd gen WRX hatch'es. As I was walking up to the front door of the dealer, I had noticed a dark grey WRX hatch and I thought to myself, "That is a sexy car!". Sure enough, that is the WRX the sales guy walked me over too. I climbed in to the WRX, and had a much easier time of it, though the steering wheel is too low, even at max height. Me thinks a flat bottomed steering wheel is going to the top of the mod's list. Anyway, long story short, we haggle, settle on a price and I drive away with a brand new 2014 WRX. Her only options are an auto-dimming mirror and the STI short throw shifter. Nice and simple, just the way I like 'em.

    My current stable (DRZ-400, WRX, V-Strom 650)

No Harlies. I ride year around and I think other Harley riders would try to kick my ass for getting the chrome wet.

Ooh,hang on. That is the throb of a turbocharged flat four engine. A sound which, all over the world, heralds the imminent arrival of a moron - JC.

Thanks, I'm kind of partial to them too. The V-Strom's got over 30k on her and she's not even 3 years old. I bought the DRZ last April. It's a blast to ride, but I'm so big that she needs some suspension work before I can do anything too crazy.
