Thanks everyone! I know it needs new now tires, but I traded in my pontiac with some mean brand new studded snow tires, so I wont be buying any new ones anytime soon.

What you traded in on your Pontiac has nothing to do with the fact that driving on summer specific tires in the winter on a much more powerful car. You're asking for trouble if you get caught in snow/ice...or even simple below 40 degree temps for that matter.

Well, Its been -8F the past few mornings when I've gotten up to go to work and warmed the car up, and driven through the snow and ice 5 miles to work every morning and been totally okay. On the freeway in traffic, in snow at -8F. With traction control on of course.
