    If you wanna save cash just buy from a private seller, they don't mark up the price like a dealer does. Before you buy it take it to a trusted mechanic and pay $50-100 bucks and have them check everything out, if they find anything wrong like it needs new brakes or something then ask the seller to knock off $200 bucks since you'll need to buy new brake pads/roters whatever.

    Just because a car has been modified doesn't mean it was beat on. You could have an un-modified car that was beat on and wasn't taken care of while the one that is modded had regular scheduled maintenance done.

    You can tell alot by how a car was taken care of by checking out the inside, if the carpets look good, no stains, no tears in the seats, dash clean, chances are it was well taken care of.
