Smile Subaru long time enthusiast, but new member here

    Hey,
Just joined the forum but been driving subarus for a few years now... First was 05 Fxt custom stage 2+, then 11 wrx sedan AP stage 1, currently 12 wrx hatch AP stage 2 with a few other add ons.... I was on iwsti for a bit but they were too particular about Sti being so much better than wrx made me feel unwelcome as an enthusiast who owns a wrx...I know there is a gap in performance from the factory but that's what aftermarket is for
Anyways I live in far upstate ny in Adirondacks so don't know if any of you may live near there but I've seen a few cool subarus up here so maybe you're on here lol

Welcome! Pic's? I live in Ballston Lake and all around Saratoga and Clifton Park. How far north are you?

    Welcome

I'm a little ways south of you, but head up there trout fishing (Ausable is a fun river to fish with spinners). Check out the UNYSOC link in my signature

Hey everyone! Sorry for the slow reply, great to hear back from so many people I live in Plattsburgh near placid and Montreal and Burlington...I wish I knew some local car guys to go for cruises or meets...been a great fall so far, been spending most of my free time taking my gf and dog in the suby to explore the Adirondacks nearby or lake Champlain. Starting to get my winterizing stuff together, gunna be ordering new snows soon, old ones are worn out... I used to drive a ton for work...I'm thinking some mudflaps would be good this year also lol, we should put together a group for a timed rallycross or auto cross meet north of Albany...

ID:	119577Here ya go, these were all back in July the day of a local public race I participated in and actually got first place wasn't the closest of competition but a few quick cars. It was at a
Local 1/2 mile steep banked oval...one lap heads up drag brackets last car standing...not as fun as a twisty road but still enjoyed letting loose without the fuzz bothering anyone! It was during the intermission of a sprint car race and therefore had a decent local crowd and I got a small trophy and a few free tickets to the sprint championship. Was interesting to go in the pit and see the cars...definitely not an import scene but I was surprised how many wanted to come over and ask about my car after I won...couple of surprised drivers wanted to see what had just beaten their cars
