I am glad to see all the different direction everyone goes with their subie.
I honestly thought that everyone modded their subie, but i guess not.

I want to say i will not mod till after my warranty, but once you get bitten by that mod bug you keep scratching it.

I scratched it so hard in a 02, I let the magic smoke out of it (180,000 RIP). Had so much fun with it I had to get another one....

Mine's stock until Weds next week... car will be lower with a more aggressive stance! Front lip goes up, too.

Other than that, the headunit was swapped and tint went up the same week I got the car.

Also, little cosmetic stuff: Clear bra, Lamin-x heads, tails, and foglights, custom emblems, plate delete and plate relocator.

Mine is factory stock. It has the SPT cat on it and the car will remain stock as long as I own it. I've read too many KABLAMOOOOO! threads on here to modify it.

I did the same thing! I had a Kartboy shifter and bushing kit waiting to be installed once I picked up the car. I knew from the moment I test drove it, the car was in desperate need of a new shifter setup.

Next thing on the list is a stereo upgrade. Upgraded components, headunit, amp, and wiring. The stock system leaves a lot to be desired.

I had the same sentiment. But modding does not "void" your warranty per se. It may cause a dealership to refuse service, but your warranty is not voided. Some people here seem to have issues with dealers and minor mods, while others have no problems with dealers and have heavy modifications.

The reason I bought mine was because it was stock (engine wise). There are so many modded WRX's here in NZ. They all have the same, more often than not, badly done mods. Pod filter, BOV & cheap exhaust that's all sound and no gains.

The only things that it had done was lower springs, front lip and wheels.

Since I bought it I have replaced the wheels, so I can fit 235's. Didn't go to 18's though, stayed with the 17's and put 45 profile tyres on. I think it's a good compromise with the stiff suspension and rough roads here in NZ.

No doubt I'll slowly add bits and pieces to it, as I now own a house with a large garage / workshop. :-)
