Don't believe there is an off the shelf stage 3 map from Cobb. I think lyltec and I are getting at the same point.

Wasn't sure if OP realized he had to upgrade turbo and intercooler. He hasn't mentioned that yet.

Or you can install the parts yourself. Quite simple and save loads of $$.

Plus its cool to say you did all the work yourself, plus you have a second car so why not install the parts yourself?!

Here she is. Not in a too bad of a shape, will need new tires, brake pads, exhaust, and interior steam cleaning. Previous owner was a construction worker and had a dog

Is this something I should be concerned about:

The rear diff might just be a mess made by the guy that changed the gear fluid last. Get under there and clean it up real good. If the oily residue returns you have a bad seal.

The rust is pretty normal for a 7 year old car from MD where they salt the road. You should get it up on jackstands or a lift and asses how severe it is, then repair as needed.

Also, what is with the custom star engraving on the diff cover?

The turbo timer means that it is NOT bone stock. Check it over. The old owner might have stopped there, might have done more, or might have done more and returned it to stock to sell. Look for bolts that show wear from being wrenched on. If you would like, take some good pics of the engine bay and we can try to point out anything amiss.

in any case, you wil want to change the oil, trans fluid, and rear diff fluid soon as you do not know for certain how long ago that was done or what type of fluids were used.

If that's a turbo timer I'd be worried about other mods

Great suggestions. The guy said he changed all of the fluids himself, but none of the 60k maintenance has been done (spark plugs, replace coolant and brake fluid). I am a little skeptical that he maintained the car well. I will have all of the fluids changed just to be safe & 60k maintenance.
I will also take some pics of the engine tomorrow and post them. If he did replace aftermarket parts with stock, he did a hell of a job hiding it. I was looking specifically for that kind of stuff too.

Yeah, I got it for 13k. Considering reconditioning that has to go into the car, I think I might have overpaid a little bit. Although I think even with reconditioning, it is still less than what I would pay for a '06 WRX from a dealer.
