Nah I know. Me too the sedan is soo much cooler IMO. I like the hatch too but I think I'd get tired of it being a hatch. Sedan with the smoked led tails is fresh as hell

While the sedan may be faster in a straight line, the hatch handles better. Chalk that up to the shorter body and the substantial reduction in the polar moment of inertia.

Why do you think Subaru chose to homologate the STI in hatch form for FIA WRC and Group N rally competition? Because they were getting their ass kicked by hatchbacks from Ford and Citröen in WRC rallying. That's why in 2008, the STI was also offered as a hatch.

And that's why the sedan is the gt3 circuit racer, and they did away with hatch altogether

Yea in 2008. They don't even compete in wrc since 08. In 2011 the focus was all about the sedan, for nurburgring times and used as the gt3 circuit racecar. There's a reason subaru stopped making the hatch. And subaru won all the wrc championships with the sedans. The won one with the hatch. Just FYI.

The fact of the matter is that the STI hatch came out in 2008 because they were getting beat by hatches, period. That's why we have STI hatches today.

The reason why Subaru didn't offer a hatch in 2015 is because Subaru decided to put their R&D money in the sedan to keep the cost down.

You like sedans and I like hatches. It's a personal choice. One is only better over the other for what you're looking to get out of it.

Both great cars. I like both too. You were just being a lil one sided with the hatch, I agree

I don't think Subaru has ever made a sedan that I prefer the looks. 2011-2014 Hatch is the best looking car Subaru has ever made. IMHO, YMMV, TEHO, etc....

Just like people's taste in other peoples looks, glad we don't all like the same thing!!!

Took purchase of 2014 DGM sedan last Wednesday. It is, without a doubt, the sexier of the two options.
