I'd give anything to be able to afford/have an RS4 right now. There really isn't much more out there that sounds as sexy as that higher revving Euro Audi V8. Yours looks great.
You're absolutely right about the sound of the high revving Euro V8's. Thanks!

I heard about a potential piston and or piston ring issue....so should I stay away from the 08-10 even with an extended warranty?

man it would be tough to loose the audi. but family first no? thought. buy a older sti/wrx with cash after selling( ) one of those beautiful cars. drastically lowering insurance in the process. then, since no car payment, if you dont spent a grand one month modding, the bank is still happy! i dont think the subie can replace the gut wrenching torque(easily) of the gt500 or the level of awesome the audi packs, but with enough time and some wrenching they are world beaters. and better, its yours.
when my friends come up, i hear, "you sold the camarrrroooh.....HOLY BLEEP A WRX!"
Ya has that effect on me too.

I like the way you think. As for the Audi, I'm not forced to sell it, I just feel its the best thing for me to do.

I test drove a 08 STi today. Something tells me it wasn't stock (maybe a stage 1 flash) as it pulled harder than I expected from about 3000 rpm's up to redline. I also noticed that it seemed much more nimble than my RS4 (probably due to being much lighter). Biggest difference between this car and my RS4 is the quality of fit and finish. Audi has a solid feel, yet quiet inside the cabin where as the Subaru is "tinny" and loud. I suppose a good aftermarket stereo would help with that.
