    Just another new guy...

Just purchaced my first subaru today. It is a Sedona red 2003 wrx 5spd. From what I can tell it has a Cobb turbo back exhaust, k&n drop in, front strut tower brace and according to the boost gauge peak boost is at around 17-18 psi. It had 140000k miles and it could use a little love. I really don't want to sell it in a month I would like to fix her up and enjoy her for a year or two. Hopefully this forum will help me do that.

A little about me. I am new to subarus but not new to the car game. Owned 3 2.0t volkswagens, a jetta and an accord. I am 22, in the military and a fervent auto enthusiast. I can't wait to become a regular on this forum and get to know some of you guys. I am located in central Texas at the moment and if anyone is local to the killeen area let me know!

    Welcome!

If your boost gauge is accurate, then you also have a tune of some sort. Stock target boost for your car is only 13.5

How could I tell for sure if the car has been tuned. I am not sure where/what to check.

Do you have any way of contacting the previous owner?

If not, you'd probably have to enlist the help of a tuner to determine what exactly has been done, tune-wise.
